Privacy Policy

We collect only what you give us through a form or product, plus limited technical and analytics data:

• Contact and demo requests: your name, email address, company, the topic or product you are interested in and your message. The demo form also asks for team size and hiring volume, which are optional.
• Early-access waitlist: your name, work email, company or team, and an optional message.
• Job applications: your name, email, phone number, the role you are applying for, location, experience, links you share (such as a portfolio or LinkedIn profile), your message and, if you attach one, your CV (PDF or Word, up to 4 MB).
• BuildR: your account sign-in details; the resume content you upload or type, which usually includes contact details, work history, education and skills, and a photo if you add one; job descriptions you paste in; and the versions you save.
• Emails you send us directly.
• Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies: pages viewed, time on page, referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected by Google Analytics.
• Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the service, and our servers log errors.

We use personal data only for the purpose it was collected for:

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange and run a demo, and follow up about it.
• To tell waitlist members when a product becomes available.
• To consider your job application for the role you applied for.
• To run BuildR: read the resume you upload into editable fields, produce the rewrite and tailoring suggestions you ask for, save your drafts and versions, and export your documents.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used and improve it (only with your consent).
• To keep our services secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations.

Under the DPDP Act, we process your data either with your consent (for example, analytics cookies), or because you voluntarily gave it to us for a specific purpose, such as submitting a form, applying for a job or using BuildR. You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent (analytics); steps you asked us to take, or a contract with you (enquiries, applications, BuildR); and our legitimate interest in keeping our services secure.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, and only as far as they need to provide their service:

• Microsoft Azure hosts the website and BuildR. Azure Communication Services sends the emails generated by our forms, both the notification we receive and the confirmation sent to you.
• Google provides Google Analytics, which runs only if you accept analytics cookies.
• AI model providers read the resumes you upload to BuildR and generate the suggestions you request. We send only the content needed for the task you asked for.
• Sign-in providers: if you sign in to BuildR with a third-party account, that provider confirms your identity to us. We never receive your password for that account.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or when disclosure is needed to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Some of our providers process data outside India, including Google in the United States. We use providers that commit contractually to protecting the data, and we comply with any restrictions on transfers that the Government of India notifies under the DPDP Act.

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose requires, or longer only if the law requires it:

• Enquiries and demo requests: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted.
• Waitlist: until the product you signed up for launches, or until you ask to be removed.
• Job applications: for the duration of the hiring process for that role. After that we delete them, unless you agree that we can keep your application for future roles.
• BuildR: while your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it along with your resumes and saved versions.
• Analytics: in line with the data retention setting of our Google Analytics property.
• Your cookie choices: stored in your own browser until you clear it.

You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it, and ask us to correct, complete, update or delete it. You can withdraw consent, raise a grievance with us, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to. Where the GDPR applies, you can also object to or restrict processing, ask for your data in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email info@hyerhub.ai from the email address the data relates to, so we can confirm it is you. We respond within the time the law requires. BuildR account deletion is currently handled by email, so send it to the same address. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a grievance, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data we hold. Our Security page describes them. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact info@hyerhub.ai and we will delete it.

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. If a change is significant, we will also email BuildR account holders before it takes effect.
